How on earth?

Another Earth Day is coming up and I feel conflicted about sharing resources that seem like I’m placing too much climate responsibility on the individual. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a big believer in individual actions but I can also appreciate how insurmountable it feels at times. When I’m personally feeling this way, I come back to this quote:

“We don’t need a handful of people doing zero waste perfectly. We need millions of people doing it imperfectly.” — Anne Marie Bonneau, Zero Waste Chef.

Atmos: The Overview
I might have shared Atmos in here before, but it’s honestly worth multiple mentions. It’s a magazine and weekly newsletter in which Editor-in-Chief Willow Defebaugh offers an aerial view of the latest events in climate and culture—and how they all fit together.

New World: How Creativity Can Shape Our Future
An Apple x It’s Nice That event. Join participating artists to explore creativity’s role in the world to come. This is a live global session, so check the time zones listed!

I’m always a little sceptical of carbon offset tools—mainly because it’s an easy cop-out if you’re not careful. But actions matter, even a small scale of what you can personally control, and I like that Klima helps you go beyond offsetting.

Founded to provide makers, brands and businesses of all sizes access to custom, sustainable packaging. Think tissue, tape, stickers, and mailers.

Keep being imperfect.

Until next time,

Resource of the Week

Wait whaaaaaat?! A drag-and-drop 3D photo studio to design, layout, and export professional product photos. My computer fans went bananas when I was playing around with this but it was still fun. Very keen to see more 3D tools like this popping up!
